DIT New York is a New York City–based production services company specializing in Digital Imaging Technician (DIT), Virtual Production, and Video Assist services for film, television, and commercial projects. DIT New York also supplies a wide range of rental equipment—such as DIT and VTR workstations, cameras, lenses, and calibrated monitors—designed to handle data-intensive workflows and on-set post-production needs.
Founded by Kazim Karaismailoglu, our company draws on extensive industry experience and integrates advanced technologies (including GPU-powered systems, LED volume workflows, and AI-based solutions) to streamline production from capture through post.

Kaz Karaismailoglu
Founder / Head of Operations
Born in Turkey and based in New York City, Kazim (Kaz) Karaismailoglu is a Digital Imaging Technologist (DIT), On-Set Colorist, and VP Color Scientist/Supervisor. Over the course of his career, he’s worked around the world on more than 2,000 fashion commercials and on global campaigns for a myriad of brands including Apple, Google, Rolex, Nike, Mercedes-Benz, Chanel, Amex, and Emirates Airlines. His recent film and TV credits include Deadpool and Wolverine, Amy Schumer’s Kinda Pregnant, and the acclaimed Amazon Prime series Fallout.
Kaz has built many LED Volumes—including one of the first ever used for cinema—on the East Coast in partnership with Silver Spoon, 4Wall and Gum Studios. Kaz is passionate about broadening the reach of new film technologies; he has served as a panelist at Virtual Production Unplugged and as a guest lecturer at NYU’s Martin Scorsese Virtual Production Center.

Our offices are conveniently located in Long Island City, Queens, just off the Brooklyn Queens Expressway and close to several major production studios.
For equipment rental, we offer both pickup and delivery services.
